True Crime Podcast Poster

For the poster design reflecting a true crime genre podcast featuring unsolved cases, I initially chose a dark blue palette to avoid the cliché of red and to symbolize law enforcement efforts. Feedback led me to incorporate multiple shades of blue. The typography was inspired by magazine cutouts from crime shows, with a distinctive font for the title to draw attention, while keeping other text simpler to not detract from the title. Initially considering literal crime symbols like caution tape and fingerprints, critiques guided me to remove these for subtlety. Instead, I manipulated the title's transparency for an eerie effect, enhancing the poster's professional appearance. This design effectively conveys the mystery and unresolved nature of the cases discussed in the podcast.
